Calling: Pastor of Bangs First Baptist Church
Qualifications: Ordained Baptist Minister called by God who meets Biblical qualifications as described in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, 1 Peter 5:1-4
Role: The pastor shall serve as the chief spiritual leader and Christ-led
Shepherd of the First Baptist Church of Bangs, TX. His primary role shall be
to lead the congregation, the church organizations, and the church staff to
do, in the power of the Holy Spirit, everything possible to carry out The
Great Commission. It is recognized that some areas of his responsibilities
may be delegated to others, in accordance with church leadership, as he
helps them develop their gifts and grow as followers of the Lord Jesus
Christ.
We are prayerfully looking to partner with a pastor who is a servant-leader
with humility, relational strength, and vision. We desire that he will come
alongside us with a strong commitment to engage our community and local
schools through active outreach, involvement, and discipleship. He should
also have a heart for gospel-centered preaching and a willingness to
mentor staff as we work to grow in truth and love together.
